August Haul

Hi all!! I haven't been posting because I've been so exhausted after work and all I want to do is sleep!! I love seeing other bloggers' hauls and thought I would start posting stuff I pick up here and there :D

I took advantage of the $0.99 sale at Walgreens on Sinful Colors. From left to right we have Moss Have, Hot Wired, Precious Metal, Gone Platinum, and Hot Hot Heat from the 2012 Metallics Collection and Rise and Shine (which I actually got from Walmart), Boogie Nights, and Boom Boom. I'm really excited about the Metallics Collection and only picked up the ones I really wanted. I wasn't too thrilled with Heavy Metal, Super Nova, or Zyncing of You. I *may* go back to get those three just to have the entire collection, but I could do without :P

Next is from two or three trips to Walgreens.. I can't remember!! From left to right: Maybelline Color Show Shocking Seas and Tenacious Teal, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Blizzard Blue, and Revlon Sunshine Sparkle, Sheer Seafoam, and the LE Sparkle Aplenty.

This is from several CVS trips.. left to right: Wet N Wild Megalast Under Your Spell, Spoiled Shrimp on a Barbie, Are Mermaids Real?, The Parking Meteor Expired, Cougar Attack, Trust Fund Baby, and Ants in My Pants.

Klout Perk: Essie Penny Talk

I'm really excited about this one.. while Eli and I were out and about a couple of weekends ago, we stopped in at Big Lots, just to see what they had. They had a HUUUUGE bin with "drugstore" makeup and nail polishes in it that were marked down an additional 20%. The Essies were $2.80 apiece and the OPI was $3.20. Essie Black Licorice, Sugar Daddy, and Marshmallow and OPI Midnight in Moscow.

Copious: Zoya Frida.. can't wait to make jelly sandwiches with this!!

And last, we have my haul from Meijer!! Revlon Popular and Scandalous. And OMG!! Imagine my surprise when I saw these OPIs!!! From the Amazing Spiderman Collection: My Boyfriend Scales Walls, Number One Nemesis, and 2!! Just Spotted the Lizard. There were 2 left in the display. On Thursday, I bought Number One Nemesis and just one Just Spotted the Lizard. Then I thought about it, remembered how hard it is to find JStL now, saw some of the prices on eBay, went back the next day to do some grocery shopping, and snatched up the last one!!

I really think I need to go on a no-buy now for sure! Christmas is coming soon, hubby wants to start Christmas shopping now, WoW Mists of Pandaria is coming out in about two weeks. I'll just keep continuing to add to my wist list, though :P

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

MSMD - Jelly Sandwich & Stamping

Howdy!! While catching up on blogs this weekend, and discovering new blogs, I came across this awesome mani at Let Them Have Polish!. I immediately had to do this. Spent a while trying to think if I had a pink jelly I could use. Found something in my stash I thought would work, and lo and behold! It WAS a jelly!! I was super excited!! For this mani, I used 2 coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in VIP Pink, layered 2 coats of OPI Pirouette My Whistle over that, and added another coat of VIP Pink. Applied my favorite top coat and stamped with plate BM-321 (from the 2012 collection) and WnW Black Creme. If anyone could recommend a great black polish to stamp with, I would greatly appreciate it! I've tried WnW and Sinful Colors and I don't like how crisp the stamping is NOT with these :( Please ignore the tip wear! I do a lot of typing at work, so I get tip wear quickly. PS!! The yellow spots are actually reflections of the ceiling light! :)

As always, thank you for stopping by!!
